At Calgary Northeast United FC Sports Club, we believe that sports can bring people together, promote healthy competition, and build lifelong friendships.
Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Indigeneity (EDII) are key aspects in today’s society. These issues are getting more visibility by the day in sports as well. We are eager to keep supporting inclusion in our sport, by welcoming anybody who wants to participate in a safe and respectful manner. When we come together for a common goal we leave our personal identity at home.
We work with families to minimize barriers of participation of female athletes and we have female coaches and managers for the girls teams. We provide financial assistance to lower income families KidSport Canada and Jump start Canada programs to reduce financial barriers of participation and oappreciate any support from anyone in this regards.
Our athletes come form a diverse social, cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds. Our Coaches are also from various backgrounds and sensitive to and work with cultural, social, financial or any other differences and barriers. All of our coaches are security screened and certified or trained. We have created a safe and enjoyable environment for our families where they feel at home.
